The Bullingdon centre has been awarded a five-star rating – ‘very good’ – following a recent food hygiene inspection by the City Council.  We had to get inspected because of the community lunch. Many thanks to Barbara and the Community Lunch Volunteers who put in many hours completing the relevant training and paperwork, and ensuring that everything was in order in the kitchen. Barbara will send you a photo of the certificate, which is now displayed on the front of the community centre.

The community centre has also received an award – a plaque – from the Oxford Preservation Trust.  Juliet and Harry from Jessop and Cook were presented with the award on the 8th November.

Finally, we recently heard that the Oxford Mail are planning to run a story on the history of Bullingdon centre. It will be in the ‘Memory Lane’ section and is due to be published on the 15th January.
